It's COLD here!

We finally had to turn out heat on this week. We put it off long enough but will enjoy the small electric bill next month!

I'm very tired today. Katie had a bad dream during the night and kept me awake. I've never heard a child scream like she did last night. It really scared me. She couldn't find the words to tell me about it, but just kept saying "I scared, I had bad dream." So, I cuddled with her on the couch for a while, gave her some milk and put her back to bed. Then about 30 minutes later she started screaming again. By this time it was 4:15 am so I just let her stay up. I put in a video and I slept on the couch while she clung to me. She finally dozed back off around 5ish but then was up for the day around 6 or so. She took a good long nap this afternoon though. I'm hoping she'll sleepp better tonight.

Jackson and I played "cars" today. He has a little collection of hotwheels and we like to make them crash together and drive all over the coffee table. Sometimes he makes a car jump over another one and then do flips. He is such a boy!

Speaking of being a boy, Katie has figured out the difference between girls and boys. Actually, I don't know if it's the hair, the clothes or the voice, but she definitely has it down. She is always telling me who is a boy and who is a girl. She even goes up to people at church and proclaims, "YOU A GIRL LIKE ME, I A GIRL TOO!" And first thing when Papa gets home from work, she exclaims, "Papa, you a boy!!"
