Maybe I've been living in the dark ages, but I never knew that there were yellow plums in the world. When I first saw them at the roadside market about a mile down the road, I thought they might be apricots, but they didn't quite look right. So I asked the lady and she said they were yellow plums. I tend to think that the darker the fruit color, the sweeter the fruit so I asked her if they were sweet. She told me I should try for myself! Her tactic worked as I bought the whole container of them! They are super sweet! Sweeter than the blackest plums I've ever tasted, and I've had some good black plums!
I wonder if these will last through the weekend?
