Not sure how to spell Maginay -- that's what he named his imaginary friend. They have so much fun together. Jackson's imaginary friend isn't totally imaginary though. He's a belt! A dinosaur belt from the Gap that he's had for a year now. He sleeps with him, takes him everywhere. Refuses to admit that Maginay is a belt. He has a mouth (the two metal clasps), two hands (a couple of small tags on the inside of the belt...one with the care instructions and the other with the upc code).
Maginay even comes to the table and eats with the rest of us. Maginay can not ever be worn anymore...which is a shame because J really needs a belt! Jackson always tells people that his sister is Katie and his brother is Maginay. At bedtime, Andrew and I have to sing a special song just for Maginay and Maginay gets hugs, kisses and high-fives or he won't be able to sleep.
It's so cute I can't stand it. Although I do wonder if Jackson needs more REAL friends????
