September may seem kind of far away
But on the 29th, or around that day
This bun in our oven should be about done
We don't know yet, a daughter or a son
We give thanks to God for this new little blessing
A boy or a girl, we'll have to keep guessing
The end of summer or the beginning of fall
We'll be holding our baby all squishy and small
So look for another announcement to come
Jackson and Katie is who it will be from
They're mostly very happy to hear our news
Although Katie's got the "I won't be the baby no more?" blues
