Jackson's moving to a farm

Jackson told me this afternoon that he's not Jackson anymore. He's a cow, and he's going to go live on a farm with the other animals. I told him he does act like an animal some days, but he has to stay here with his mommy! He said, "well, ok".

Sometimes I tell Jackson that he's my baby and he always tells me, "that's silly, I'm not a baby!" Well, today I called him baby and he said, "yeah, I a big boy, but I still mommy's baby." Yep, he's so right!

Now that Katie can talk she's driving me crazy! Nothing but talking all day long every single day. And she says the same things OVER and OVER again. I've run out of responses for her. It is a little frustrating, but it's also VERY sweet and cute! For example, this was one of our conversations we had today:

Katie: Mama, Mama, this is MY shirt.
Me: Yes, Katie, what a pretty shirt you have.
Katie: Yeah, this is my shirt.
Me: I know, and you have nice pants too.
Katie: Yeah, mama, this is my shirt.
Me: Yes, your shirt is pink, what color are your pants?
Katie: blue, but mama, this is my shirt.
Me: uh huh, you told me, it's very nice.
Katie: mama, mama, mama...
Me: yes, honey
Katie: this is my shirt.

And we'll probably do it all again tomorrow. ;-)
